Adriana Hölzsky's composition "Weltenenden" appears here for the very first time in its complete version for four brass players - and additionally transformed into the soundscapes of "Grenzwelten / Zeitenden": an auditory space where the listener has the opportunity to experience the microscopic richness of "Weltenenden" acoustically magnified and expanded in time. In the sound studio of the WDR, a introspection of the various instruments has been created using different microphone techniques, spreading out in spatialized form through space and time.
Paul Hübner unfolds through Adriana Hölzsky's music on various brass instruments a spectrum of sound that transports the entire sounding existence of the musician directly into the listener's ear - from normally played tones in all their nuances to percussive actions of the hands, to creaking throat sounds and fragile cantilenas of the lips.
