Hanna Shybayeva - piano
Live - Direct-To-2-Track
180 g Audiophile Vinyl Pressing
LIMITED EDITION
In a sleeve album with many technical details and photos of the concert.
Nowadays, classical pianists are usually reluctant to record concerts live due to a misunderstood desire for perfection. But when pianist Hanna Shybayeva, who lives in the Netherlands, heard about the "Studio Concert" concept at Bauer Studios, she was thrilled. For the pianist, the concert experience is the energy impulse for her expressiveness.
Born in Belarus, she received numerous European and US music prizes in her youth and was described as a "child prodigy" on the piano. At the STUDIO CONCERT on February 29, 2016, Shybayeva impressively demonstrated that she has grown from a child prodigy into a magnificent pianist.
She was the first classical musician ever to sit down at the Steinway grand piano in the large studio in Ludwigsburg and played an extremely demanding program through the different eras. True to the motto "Let's Dance", Shybayeva performed works by baroque composers such as Domenico Scarlatti and François Couperin alongside compositions by Claude Debussy and Frédéric Chopin. On this evening, Shybayeva showed that she can not only use the energy of the audience for highly energetic interpretations, but also that the dance element runs through the entire history of music.
The result is a studio concert vinyl which, in its directness, presents an artist who fascinates with her playing and her expression.
