"Every person is an ocean and harbors within themselves experiences, emotions, certain character traits. Triozean is the connection of our three oceans." - Triozean
NOCTURNE is the result of this blend and impressively reflects the individual facets of the band. There is the fugue-like composed piece, whose elements move in circles, a centrifuge, so to speak. The delicately melting Nocturne en Chocolat, dedicated to the trio's tasty companion. Many impressions that each member brings, but which harmonize only in their entirety. Triozean employs every conceivable stylistic and methodological approach. Thus, it's no wonder that their jazz sometimes sounds classical, sometimes rocky, or even world-music inspired. They explore their instruments, bringing color to their music. A music that takes life as a model: a multitude of impressions, from being on the road, arriving, tasting, feeling, seeing, smelling, and hearing.

"The fact that a self-contained collection of tonal paintings has emerged between cozy armchair atmosphere and fine-motor joint stimulation can be attributed to the musicians' skill. Versatility in one gulp is the trump card. Triozean celebrates a little nocturne music that can also be enjoyed during the day." - PianoNews 03/12 (Tom Fuchs)
"Classically sparkling fugues, motivic resolutions, subtle alienations are interpreted here to dance on this material, to celebrate, to jubilate. Sudden outbreaks from the well-tempered canon of forms surprise as much as they convince and enthuse the audience." - Dresdner Neueste Nachrichten 03/12 (Aldo Lindhorst)
"The creativity of these nine titles is too effervescent, the rhythm and melody too diverse, the playful handling of the three interwoven instrumental parts too brilliant. (...) The trio actually sails through and over the ocean of possibilities, juxtaposing classical echoes with catchy melodic sequences, giving each member the chance for virtuoso development and yet fitting together to form a common spirit." - musik in dresden 03/12 (Aldo Lindhorst)
