Jütz's debut album was nominated for the "Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik" in 2015. A few months later, the band returns to Bauer Studios for a STUDIO CONCERT. For this vinyl, they selected both older and new pieces and picked up Italian and Austrian as well as German songs, which they reinterpreted and embedded in a jazz setting. Sometimes quietly hidden and then loudly present in the next track, all the pieces have the Alpine flair that is characteristic of the trio. Daniel Woodtli on trumpet and flugelhorn, Isa Kurz on accordion and violin, and Philipp Moll on double bass together create a remarkable musical variety and dynamic. The result is music full of tension, breaks with the familiar and the free development of melody.
