The story of this record began back in 2022 when Elisabeth Lohninger was originally scheduled to perform at the Analog Days festival. However, fate had other plans. Yet, the passion for music and the desire to experience Elisabeth live and on vinyl kept the dream alive.

In 2023, the time finally came: Elisabeth Lohninger was able to join the Analog Days, bringing with her a phenomenal band. The lineup was truly impressive: Christine Corvisier on tenor saxophone, a French artist based in Cologne known for her wide stylistic range and breathtaking energy. Jean Yves Jung, a true wizard on the piano from France. Cliff Schmitt on double bass, a seasoned musician who has shared the stage with the likes of Norah Jones, Art Garfunkel, Till Brönner, and Curtis Stigers. Holding down the groove was Alex Bernath on drums, an accomplished drummer who has played with Elisabeth many times before and has worked with acts like Ray Greene, lead singer for Santana.

What these five musicians created on that October evening in 2023 at the Bauer Studios can only be described as "magical." The energy, passion, and synergy of the artists were captured on this record, making this extraordinary concert experience come alive again.
