Christine Corvisier, born in Perpignan, France, is an award-winning saxophonist known for her versatility and passionate musicianship. Early on, she received accolades such as the Young Talent of Alpes Maritimes award and studied with jazz greats like Joshua Redman, Chris Cheek, George Garzone, David Binney, and Donny McCaslin in New York. She completed her studies with a double degree from the conservatories in Nice and Amsterdam.  

Christine Corvisier is wholeheartedly dedicated to jazz. With her Christine Corvisier 5tet, she has released several albums that have been highly praised by renowned magazines such as Jazzthetik, Jazzpodium, and Jazzthing. In addition to her work as a bandleader, she is a sought-after sidewoman who has collaborated with artists such as Andre Nendza, Elisabeth Lohninger, Philipp Brämswig & Filippa Gojo, and Gero Körner.  

Her greatest strength lies in her exceptional stylistic range. Corvisier feels at home not only in jazz but also in pop, rock, Latin, and Brazilian music. This makes her a highly in-demand saxophonist, regularly performing with groups such as the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld (Jan Böhmermann), Guildo Horn, Pangea Ultima, Cabaret (Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus), and the King Kamehameha Club Band.
