Franz Lehrndorfer at the Three Jahn Organs
The newly built cathedral organs since 1978 made a joint recording by cathedral organist Professor Franz Lehrndorfer desirable. The recordings are introduced by the Sunday chimes of five bells and rounded off by the full peal of the eight cathedral bells.
Franz Lehrndorfer performs works by John Stanley, Nikolaus Bruhns, Georg Böhm, Alexandre Guilmant, and his own improvisations.
Jahn Organs: Andreas Organ, Organ of the Sacrament Chapel, and Main Organ
The bells are played individually, in groups, and in the full peal.
