It all began in Ravi Ramsahye's teenage bedroom – where energetic pop-punk met the soundscapes of video games and anime. This early enthusiasm continues to shape his musical aesthetic to this day, carried by a disarming emotional openness. Over time, this room became a laboratory where all these influences entered into dialogue with jazz.

Rooted in Switzerland's exceptionally vibrant jazz scene, the band PROTOTYPE embodies precisely this vision: an experimental model that becomes an archetype. Assembled by Ravi, the members draw on the diversity of their backgrounds.
