Profive - Die Süddeutschen Bläsersolisten

Juri Tetzlaff and ProFive have once again come together to interpret the fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel" in their lively style. Once again, they have created an exciting and child-friendly musical adventure. Juri Tetzlaff refreshingly and casually narrates his version of the story, not hesitating to join in singing the most beloved children's songs from the opera. Professionally supported by ProFive - the Southern German Brass Soloists - in the skillful arrangement for brass quintet by Prof. Eberhard Buschmann, these five woodwind players shine with rich sound, subtle phrasing, musical fun, and catchy ensemble playing.

To actively involve young listeners in the story, the songs are printed in the lovingly designed CD booklet. As a "bonus," attentive listeners are treated to a small game with cut-out figures. This allows young listeners to wonderfully rediscover and experience classical music and the 'old' fairy tale.

ProFive - The Southern German Brass Soloists - are all professors at German music universities: Hermann Klemeyer (flute), Jochen Müller-Brincken (oboe), and Albrecht Holder (bassoon) in Würzburg, Manfred Lindner (clarinet) in Essen, and Jan Schroeder (horn) in Hannover. Besides their teaching activities, the musicians also perform as soloists and in other chamber music ensembles (including Consortium Classicum, Ensemble Villa Musica, Residenz-Quintett München). However, in the exclusive top ensemble ProFive, they always find the symbiosis of professional faithfulness to the work and exuberant joy of playing. This is the special secret that makes the famous spark jump at every concert from the first note!

"... We want to make classical music child-friendly and understandable. We see this as our responsibility and our cultural mission."

Juri Tetzlaff has been a fixture in German children's television as a presenter and author for over 10 years. He is widely recognized as the face of many formats on KI.KA., the children's channel of ARD/ZDF. Currently, he hosts the media magazine "TRICKBOXX," "Sandmann," and the crafting show "Mitmach Mühle."
