The music combines instrumental and vocal sounds, dresses well-known Christmas carols in new clothes and creates an impressive sound collective from over two hundred participants. This is symbolised by the work One Voice, which states: "This is the sound of all of us, sung with love and the will to trust each other."
In addition to German Christmas classics such as Silent Night and the medley Alle Jahre wieder, this CD also features the contrast of two completely different compositions with the same name, Sleigh Ride, as well as symphonic masterpieces by Otto Nicolai and Richard Strauss.
