Namestra - Ensemble de cuivres

With playing finesse, sensitivity, and unique tonal richness, the ensemble narrates l'Aventure des Frères Montgolfier, composed for them by conductor Rémy Abraham, before moving on to Chat Pitre by Richard Galliano.
Thanks to its orchestral qualities, the brass section takes on the most beautiful symphonic works: excerpts from Grieg's Holberg Suite and Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony, emotive melodies including the sublime Nessun Dorma from Puccini's Turandot and Bizet's Toreador from Carmen. There are also specially composed pieces for brass, such as Sparkes Overture and Appermont's Fanfare for a Friend.
The ensemble also takes the listener on an excursion with Pottock all the way to the Celtic regions of Monesuch, celebrating a traditional Anglo-Saxon Christmas there with "Mary's Boy Child."
We hope you have a pleasant journey
