Guitarist Max Zentawer presents his debut album, "REDUCE TO THE MAX." In a trio with double bassist Florian Döling and drummer Matthias Daneck, he delivers a diverse and exciting production within the realm of contemporary modern jazz. The album features a defined, powerful, and cohesive sound. Earthy grooves alternate with loosely swinging sections, complemented by delicate, melodic (art) pieces on the acoustic guitar.

Max Zentawer proves himself to be an extremely versatile, seasoned, and adept player on both electric and acoustic nylon-string guitars. Ranging from restrained to virtuosic, his improvisations always seek a direct connection with his fellow musicians and the resulting interaction. Florian Döling and Matthias Daneck skillfully translate this energy into musical dialogues.

The album predominantly consists of original compositions by Max Zentawer. The Frankfurt-born, Freiburg-based musician showcases his creativity and agility.
