Marc Perrenoud Trio

Marc Perrenoud (*1981) was born in Berlin and discovered the piano at the age of six. He began playing and improvising on it. He studied at the conservatory in Geneva until 2001, earning his diploma in 2004 from the Lausanne Jazz School. His first (duo) album was released in 2006, and in 2008, he founded his eponymous trio, performing at numerous major jazz festivals and countless clubs worldwide. In 2017, he co-founded the quintet AKSHAM with Elina Duni and David Enhco, which released its debut in 2018. Additionally, Perrenoud teaches at the Geneva Conservatory and is a co-founder and artistic director of the music festival "Les Athénéennes," held annually in June in Geneva. The fifth trio CD, "Morphée," is the eighth album released under Perrenoud's name.
