QUATTROBONE is a versatile chamber music ensemble that sees itself as a laboratory where joyful experimentation takes place. Through engagement with classical, jazz, and popular music, there is constant development, with the lively element of improvisation playing a significant role. Therefore, QUATTROBONE places great importance on performing their own arrangements of existing music as well as their own compositions.

Through these individual arrangements, compositions, and various instrumentation possibilities (alto-tenor-bass trombone, marching bone, tenor-baritone horn, euphonium, tuba), a distinctive ensemble sound is created, making Quattrobones unique.

"We wanted to be a formation where we could joyfully explore all the possibilities that our instruments offer. To create a typical group sound, which is just as influenced by the manual arrangement of pieces and the use of different instruments as by the individual biographies of the participating musicians."
