Juilien Soro, composer, alto, tenor, and soprano saxophonist, as well as keyboardist, stands as one of the most talented young musicians of his generation, having earned a first prize with distinction at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP). He commenced his career as the leader and composer of the Inama Sextet, which received the 1st prize for both group and soloist at the 2007 Esprit Jazz Festival in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, along with the 2nd prize for composition at the 2007 Concours National de La Défense. Concurrently, he performed as a sideman in trombonist Glenn Ferris's quintet and saxophone quartet led by Jean-Louis Chautemps and François Jeanneau.
Teaming up with Stephan Caracci, who plays vibraphone, marimba, glockenspiel, other percussion instruments, and keyboards, along with drummer Ariel Tessier, they form the ensemble "Players."
