Heeresmusikkorps 10 Ulm

For 60 years, the Army Music Corps Ulm has been representing the Bundeswehr and thus the Federal Republic of Germany.

Under the direction of Major Matthias Prock, the musicians of the Army Music Corps Ulm offer brass music at the highest level and distinguish themselves as a versatile orchestra that presents an extremely diverse music program. However, one genre consistently stands out as a central element: march music.

On this anniversary CD, "MÄRSCHE – DAMALS WIE HEUTE" (MARCHES – THEN AND NOW), the Army Music Corps Ulm particularly focuses on southern German march music. They present not only well-known classical military marches but also concert marches, as well as march compositions from other nations. In this anniversary year, a sonorous testimony of this music culture was created, not only for lovers of march music.
