For more than ten years now, the trio Belli-Fischer-Rimmer formed by trombonist Frederic Belli, pianist Nicholas Rimmer and percussionist Johannes Fischer has been thrilling audiences with original programs and an overwhelming joy of playing. In this unusual line-up, they present works of the classical repertoire in a refreshing and unconventional way.

The repertoire ranges from Bach to Xenakis, from Brahms to Weill and from Bernstein to Waits. Their idea of programming may seem like a roller coaster ride through music history, however, with the aim of overcoming preconceptions about genre limitations. In their concerts, old works influence new arrangements and vice versa, thus creating amazing connections and interactions across the centuries.

Many of their arrangements leave room for improvisation and are created jointly through experimenting and adapting them over the years. Thus, each concert remains unique and the three musicians often surprise themselves on stage.
