SUDS is a jazz work that delves into piano and improvisation, as well as musical production and experimentation. Bailly incorporates electronic textures with the Moog, organ sounds, a prepared piano, or even his own voice.
SUDS is inspired by the pianist's many travels between Spain and France. It's an intimate logbook that presents a dreamy universe blending the imaginary of the North and the South, a space where snow covers the olive tree. One can perceive Flamenco accents and Musette melodies immersed in a fascinating impressionism. Lyrically and rhythmically, we discover a very personal, bittersweet poetic force.
