Sirius Quartet

The Sirius Quartet, consisting of internationally recognized proponents of contemporary music, combines a captivatingly fresh repertoire with unprecedented improvisational fire. These performing artists with a high level of education shine with precision and pure energy rarely experienced on stage. Their progressive approach makes labels like "New Music" seem conservative.
Since its debut concert at the Knitting Factory in New York, the quartet has played in some of the world's most significant concert halls, including the Lincoln Center, the Beijing Music Festival, the Musik Triennale Köln, Stuttgart Jazz Festival, Musique Actuelle in Canada, the Taichung Jazz Fest (Taiwan's major jazz festival), and many others.

Extended playing techniques, captivating improvisations, and irresistible grooves are also evident in the integrated pop songs, which have their rightful place in the unique programs
