Polizeimusikkorps Karlsruhe

Whether in an elegant concert hall, a church, or a festival tent, the Police Music Corps Karlsruhe, founded in 1981, always strikes the right note.

For a recreational orchestra, this is noteworthy, along with other special features:
With over 60 musicians, including eleven women, it is the largest police orchestra in Germany. The age range of the members is also remarkable, spanning from a 21-year-old newcomer to an 83-year-old retiree.

Among the hobby musicians from the police force, there are some former military musicians, as well as numerous members from various civilian professions. With its refreshing music and numerous charity concerts, the music corps is well-known and popular beyond the region.
