Sylvain Bardiau on trumpet, Frédéric Gastard on bass saxophone, and Matthias Mahler on trombone form the Trio Journal Intime. Following their homage to Jimi Hendrix, they return with their third album, "Extension des Feux," a musical and instrumental exploration that emerged from that experience. Joining them on this personal adventure are two renowned guests: Marc Ducret and Vincent Peirani. Their electric strings and accordion keys joyfully blend with the trio's coppery breath and orchestral atmosphere.
All the pieces on the album are composed by Frédéric Gastard.
