With the Ariel Bart Trio, we bring a rarely heard lead instrument in jazz to the Studio Concert. Ariel is one of the few artists to feature the harmonica in this way. Her trio - an exceptional lineup of harmonica, cello, and piano - creates a warm, atmospheric soundscape where lyrical melodies meet powerful dynamics. Their music tells stories, opens sonic landscapes, and avoids unnecessary length or pathos.
They will present their new album After Silence, released in September and recorded a year earlier at the renowned Bauer Studios. The ensemble has been active internationally for several years, performing at festivals such as Éclats d’Email (FR), Jazzahead 2024 (DE), Freespace JazzFest (HK), and Jazz à l’Ouest (FR).
Ariel Bart has previously released two albums on Ropeadope Records (In Between, 2021, and Documentaries, 2022) and is recognized as an artist who continually expands the expressive possibilities of the harmonica.
