Julia Oschewsky shares her musical journey:
Originally, I hail from Bingen, a beautiful town nestled in the romantic Rhine Valley. In 2003, Amsterdam became my new home for 13 years when I embarked on my jazz vocal studies at the conservatory there. Upon my return to Bingen at the end of 2016, I quickly found a sense of belonging and reestablished myself musically. Despite the physical distance, I maintain a deep connection with Amsterdam and my fellow musicians there.
My life as a musician is vibrant, exciting, and full of variety. It seems that new doors continually open to areas of thinking whose existence I was completely unaware of before. Music makes me stumble, travel, doubt, encounter myself and others, ask questions, find answers, and grow.
